Daniel Ellsberg: Nuclear Weapons and Humanity's Future Lobero Theatre, 33 E. Canon Perdido St, Santa Barbara, CA 93101 On February 23, Daniel Ellsberg will deliver the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation’s 11th Annual Frank K. Kelly Lecture on Humanity’s Future. A former U.S. military analyst, Daniel Ellsberg became famous for releasing the Pentagon Papers in 1971, changing how the public viewed its government and the Vietnam War. His story has been recounted in the 2010 Oscar-nominated documentary: The Most Dangerous Man in America, and in his book Secrets. Entitled "Nuclear Weapons and Humanity’s Future," the lecture is free and promises to be an important evening to hear from a legendary peace leader.
