Throughout the 2008 presidential campaign, we selected quotes and voting records that we felt best summarized each Republican and Democratic candidate’s position on the issues, using available information.

If your search terms do not bring up quotes for a certain candidate, that is because we have not yet encountered any instances in which that candidate has taken up a position on our chosen categories. If you have discovered a quote outlining a candidate's position which you do not see featured within one of our categories, we encourage you to share the information with us.
